I Love What I Do!

I have fun with the technical side of web development but the real rewards come when I contribute to a client’s success.  Whether it’s increasing the traffic to your site, or helping you select the right features for your business model, I’m proud of and motivated by the business value I can add.

I know the web; I have the skills … but anyone can learn to build and maintain a website.  What sets me apart is my broad-based experience in small, medium and large business and not-for-profit ventures. Understanding how an organization works is invaluable when building its website.  This isn’t just about putting code together; it’s about propelling your business and being a true partner in helping achieve the goals of your organization.

My purpose when you work with me will be to understand what you do and what you need your website to do to support you.  Together, we’ll make a plan and I’ll deliver what you need.  I can continue to be your trusted advisor and web partner as your needs grow and change.

I’ve had a varied career:  professional accountant, stay-at-home dad, community volunteer, website builder.    I have a well-developed business acumen from working in financial institutions and running my own small business.  As an active volunteer my whole life, I understand the special needs of not-for-profit organizations including community service groups, arts groups, and faith-based institutions.

I love what I do!   I continually upgrade my knowledge of website building techniques through on-line courses and reading.  My formal education supports my knowledge of both business practices and technology.
